Advertising to Millennials

Want to advertise to millennials?

Perhaps you shouldn’t bother.

Apparently, they don’t like it. And prefer reaching out to you when they want something.

At least, that was the piss-poor advice (on a list containing plenty of piss-poor advice), that I saw recently.

But you see, here’s the thing:

“The real fact of the matter is that nobody reads ads. People read what interest them, and sometimes it’s an ad.”

Howard Luck Gossage said that back in the ‘Mad Men’ era.

And it’s as true today as it ever was.

You want to advertise to millennials?
